Mobile sports · sunny vibes

Palm Tree Games

A tiny studio making competitive sports you can play with one thumb—pickup games, real skill, and colors that feel like vacation.

  • Touch-first controls
  • Quick matches
  • Fair live ops

Stuff we care about

Palm Tree Games started around a simple idea: sports games should feel as relaxed as a beach day, but as sharp as game seven. We obsess over frame timing, netcode that does not waste your time, and UI you can read in bright sunlight.

When we are not building, we are probably replaying classic arcade sports, arguing about rule tweaks, or sketching courts and fields on napkins. We ship small, listen loud, and treat every update like a tide coming in—steady, expected, and bringing something new to shore.

What to expect from us

Roadmaps you can actually read. Patch notes that say what changed. Cosmetics and convenience, not pay-to-win walls. And a long-term focus on games people keep on their home screen next to the weather app—because the forecast is always “competitive, but chill.”

Upcoming games & projects

Here is what is on our sandcastle roadmap: four mobile sports lanes we are building with the same philosophy—readable UI, respectful monetization, and sessions that fit a lunch break or a long weekend.

In active development

Shoreline Hoops

A 3-on-3 street basketball game built for short sessions: swipe passing, tap shooting, and skill-based contests instead of auto-dribble cutscenes.

  • Ranked seasons with transparent matchmaking
  • Cosmetic courts, gear, and celebration moves
  • Offline practice mode with shot-timing drills
  • Closed playtest: summer
  • Core loop polish: dribble + contest tuning
  • Social clubs + weekly challenges
Prototype → vertical slice

Boardwalk Baseball

Fast arcade baseball: big hits, quick innings, and pitching that rewards reads—not rote timing windows you memorize once and sleep through.

  • Season mode with digestible 10-minute games
  • Local pass-and-play for road trips
  • Stadium themes from coastal towns (fictional + inspired)
  • Fielding camera pass
  • AI difficulty curves for casual vs ranked
  • First public demo build
Research / early concept

Volley & Vista

Beach volleyball with expressive poses, wind-aware ball physics on higher tiers, and co-op doubles that feels great on phones (and tablets on the porch).

  • Gesture-based serves and spikes (with accessibility toggles)
  • Cosmetic nets, balls, and announcer packs
  • Tournament weekends with rotating modifiers
  • Physics sandbox for “fun first” tuning
  • Character silhouettes + animation style lock
  • Networking spike for 2v2 sync
Early planning

  • Spectator-friendly replays and shareable moments
  • Core mechanic lock and feel pass
  • Art direction: bold silhouettes, beach-poster color
